Karlstad’s most festive city festival returns for the fourth year running, perfectly situated in the innermost part of the city centre’s harbour. This summer, the line-up includes Magnus Uggla, Molly Sandén, Lovet, Medina and many more.
The Kajen City Festival in Karlstad
For four years running, a magical atmosphere has been created in the Inner Harbour, with crowds of happy people sharing the energy and music in the festival area. And in 2026, that fantastic atmosphere will be back! We hope that 6,000 happy, party-loving festival-goers will bring the festival to life every day.
Food and drink will be available throughout the site, with something to suit every taste. Visitors will enjoy two wonderful days packed with music, food, drink and friends.

After Hours at Bazar
When the artists finish playing on stage, the after-party begins – After Hours at Bazar in the VIP Lounge! There, the party continues with more music, more drinks and an even better atmosphere.
Anyone with a valid Kajen ticket is welcome. You don’t need a VIP ticket to attend the after-party, but there are a limited number of places.
